I am a resident in Tate, Georgia and it is very frustrating when you have to stand outside down the driveway to pick up a signal. I do not see any reason why one of the towers that mimic a tree would not work out for our historic area.
Please reconsider this WE NEED CELL RECEPTION.

I will be interested in retail space at this location. A bistro and bar. I would also like to know what is the expected projected date for this project to be available?

Thanks

Its a slippery slope. I think the opinion is contrary to where the Georgia Supreme Court is on this fine point of the law, but it will be interesting to see where this goes. Thanks for posting it to your blog.

There's nothing attrocious about rejecting a controversial cell phone tower. That is if I am reading the comment correctly. Perhaps there are neigborhoods close by that don't want their property value affected. We have T-Mobile pulling the same crap and trying to place a cell tower in our commons area of our subdivsion 50ft away from a children's playground. Now that's an attrocity. Yes... we do live in a free country. Everyone's voice count and if the people dont want it and speak out against the city then that's the democratic government we live in. I am having to take a lot of time just to protect my property value as well as keep a health hazard out of my neighborhood. There should be a law banning a cell carrier from placing a cell tower in an area zoned as a residential area. If signal quality is a problem then T-Mobile and other companies should go back and improve their technology so that it works without having to be in our back yard. I work with technology and the responsibility should be placed on the cell carrier without jeapordizing our property value and placing a health hazard in our back yards!!!!!!

I hope they do re-write this law in all of GA, I just had to pay $250.00 to get a permit to keep chickens because of how my land was zoned (Residential), all nine of my neighbors signed statements that they had no problems with my chickens. It passed the first committee meeting by a vote of 4 to 1 to allow me to keep chickens, I'm not sure I expect it to pass the second committee meeting because honestly I feel this is just another means for the govt to suck more hard earned money out of tax payers. It used to be that you had a right as an "american" to raise your own food or keep pets so long as the animals and all aspects of those animals were contained to your own property. Now days as an "american" you have NO RIGHTS of any kind to the land you "own" except to pay property taxes every year. Every principle, moral, and value this country was founded on has been so completely trashed, followed by the constitution and next will be the flag.
