By a vote of 12 to 2, Atlanta City Council approves sale of City Hall East to Atlanta-based Jamestown Properties for a $27 million price tag. Jamestown Properties will pay $15.5 million to the City $11.5 to the Atlanta Development Authority. Councilmembers voting against the sale and even a few that voted for it expressed concerns over availability of affordable housing within the proposed development.
